Ingredients
- Banana or Nenthra pazham] – 7 [Fully ripped]
- Ghee [melted butter] – 5 tbsp
- Jaggery [Vellam]– 1 cup
- Water -1/3 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Almond, pistachio - 3 tbsp
- Rice flour or corn flour – tbsp [optional]
Preparation Method
- In a mixie jar add 10 banana finely grind
- Heat pan add jaggery, water boil for 1 min
- Heat another pan, add ghee, ground banana, saute till colour changes to little bit dark
- Add jaggery syrup cook till it thickens
- Add ghee gradually
- Add corn flour cook till the mixer start leaving the pan
- Add cardamom powder, nuts
- serve hot or cold

Put it in a mxiie jar, finely grind
Ground banana mixture ready
Add 1 cup jaggery
Add water, boil for 2 min
Dont boil for long time
Perfecy jaggery syrup syrup ready, strain without lumps
Add 3 tbsp ghee
Add groudn banana puree
Saute for 3 min
Mixture start leaving the pan
Add corn flour or rice flour
Add ghee gradually
Mix well
No lumps
Add jaggery syrup
Stir well without lumps
Cook till the mixture start leaving the pan
Add ghee gradually
Stir well on medium frame
Mixture ready
Add cardamom powder
Add almonds, pistachios
Perfect mixture ready
Pour into bowl
Add nuts if required
Glossy banana halwa ready
Store in an airtight container, use with in 1 month
